Clone a Pluggable Database (PDB) Manually

SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE "OLD_PDB" CLOSE IMMEDIATE;

SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE "OLD_PDB" OPEN READ ONLY;
Pluggable database altered.

SQL> CREATE PLUGGABLE DATABASE "NEW_PDB" FROM "OLD_PDB"
      STORAGE UNLIMITED TEMPFILE REUSE
      FILE_NAME_CONVERT=NONE';
Pluggable database altered.

SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE "OLD_PDB" CLOSE IMMEDIATE;

SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE "OLD_PDB" OPEN READ WRITE;

SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE "NEW_PDB" OPEN READ WRITE;


SQL> show pdbs;
